Dyer Nursing and Rehabilitation provides intravenous therapy (IV) as part of its skilled nursing services. We have registered nurses on staff that care for our residents with vascular access devices such as midline catheters or PICCs (peripherally inserted central catheter) as well as standard peripheral IV lines. Our nurses assess, monitor and coordinate the maintenance of peripheral and central IV access devices.
We provide the following types of infusion therapies:
- Antibiotics for Infections
- Pain Management
- Hydration
- Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN)
- Nonvascular Access Device Therapies
It is our goal to provide these services on site whenever possible. We strive to prevent unnecessary transfers to the hospital and elsewhere.
